Scope and acceptance
VacationVault provides marketplace, workflow, educational, and owner-tool features. Use of the service is subject to these Terms, the Privacy Notice, membership or checkout disclosures, and any additional terms presented for a specific feature.
Accounts and accurate information
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, safeguarding account access, and using the service only for lawful purposes. Do not provide another person’s information, ownership documents, or payment credentials without permission.
Listings and manual review
Owners are responsible for accurate, current, and permitted listing information. VacationVault may request supporting information and may decline, pause, edit for clarity, or remove content. Manual approval is a publication review, not a title opinion, appraisal, inspection, resort confirmation, or warranty.
Marketplace transactions
Rental requests, resale inquiries, and trade offers have different workflows. A listing, offer, approval, or message does not itself transfer title, guarantee availability, confirm resort permission, or complete a closing. Participants remain responsible for independent diligence and any required resort, lender, legal, escrow, closing, or transfer steps.
Payments, fees, and refunds
Where checkout is available, Stripe processes payments under the applicable checkout flow. Stripe processing is not escrow or a trust arrangement. Platform or marketing fees, processor charges, refunds, cancellations, and seller-payout availability are disclosed in the relevant transaction flow and may depend on seller onboarding and transaction status.
Academy, toolkit, and Exit Navigator
Academy lessons, document tools, and Exit Navigator content are educational and organizational resources. They are not legal, tax, financial, real-estate, or professional advice; they do not create cancellation rights or guarantee a sale, rental, release, transfer, refund, or other outcome.
Prohibited conduct and enforcement
Do not post misleading claims, impersonate another person, submit unauthorized material, bypass access controls, misuse payment features, scrape the service, or use VacationVault to facilitate fraud or unlawful activity. VacationVault may suspend access or remove content to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
Disclaimers, updates, and contact
The service is provided subject to applicable law and without guarantees about availability, value, earnings, title, transferability, resort acceptance, or transaction completion. VacationVault may update these Terms as the service evolves. For questions, use the website contact page before relying on a transaction-specific assumption.
